Executive - Assurance Services

  • Location: Mumbai
  • Qualification: 1 to 3 years

Academic Qualification

  • Bachelor of Commerce. Master of Commerce is added qualification for this position.
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, Ledger Analysis, statutory dues requirements, lending cycle and ability to read and understand Loan Documents.
  • Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications. Ability to analyses financial data and prepare reports on procedure performed as per Scope of Work (SOW) & Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Job Responsibilities

  • Required to coordinate with Quality Control Team/Supervisor for liaison with Client & Target client.
  • Required to coordinate (& visit, if required) with Client & Target Client for obtaining information/documents.
  • Required to visit (field survey) client & target client’s place of business for performing procedure as per SOW & SOP including physical verification of stock, conducting debtors analyse, reviewing statutory dues paid by target client, review of insurance copy for asset insured, financial statement analyse, etc.
  • Required to obtain documents/information from Quality Control team on the procedure to be performed on field.

  • Location: Mumbai
  • Qualification: 2 to 3 years

Academic Qualification

  • Chartered Accountant or equivalent
  • Knowledge: Underwriting and analysis experience of loan documents, financial statements, collateral documents, research for specific sector, ability to comprehend complex commercial credits.
  • Research skills: They require the ability to conduct research into borrowers and industries to be abreast with factors that may affect profitability and the borrower’s ability to repay loans.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for underwriting loans and preparing report/presentations
  • Takes decision on credit applications under the supervision of senior underwriters
  • Utilizes provided software to score credit applications
  • Works with the credit administrator on policies and procedures
  • Undertakes the analysis, evaluation, and underwriting of proposed credit facilities for customers and prospects
  • Assesses credit opportunities; identifies key risks, and structures alternatives working with relationship managers and credit officers
  • Responsible for preparing in-depth credit study
  • Responsible for conducting research on borrowers and industries
  • Takes ownership of the credit process, making decisions in the best interest of the customer and Bank
  • Provides support to account officers on customer calls as needed
  • Responsible for measuring covenants put in place within loan agreements, with a clear understanding of the effect and purpose of those loan covenants, and communicates the compliance of the borrowers to the relationship manager and chief credit officer as needed
  • Completes annual reviews, modifications, extensions, renewals, and new loan requests for customers with minimal required changes from the credit approvers
  • Analyzes more complex credits with assistance from senior Bank staff
  • Applies experience with comparable credits to recommend appropriate covenants, terms, and conditions, and structure for a credit request

Job Responsibilities

  • Having complete understanding of Annual Report including Balance Sheet of the Company coupled with thorough analysis of Financials, understanding vital/key ratios, Comparison of Financial parameters of some Industry sectors, understanding of the standalone company and group structure and intricacies of funds movements within the group, Analysis of Consolidated status for the group or an entity, able to analyses investment outside the business etc.
  • Familiarity with accounting standards, basic understanding of accounting and getting reports from the available systems. Basic understanding of Direct and Indirect tax working and filing of Returns etc
  • Desired if he or she has done Financial due diligence for some corporate companies having large exposure on behalf of company and/or Bank or ARC or any other equity investment company
  • Should have familiarity of Banking terminologies, sanction terms, ability to understand drawing power and relate the same with financial analysis
  • Capable to study the project analysis with reasons for failures, Industry prospects

  • Technical: Must have extremely strong MS Excel skills. Knowledge of Statutory accounting principles, Knowledge of latest insolvency and Bankruptcy code and understanding key sections of Companies, Act, 2013 will be added advantage
  • Behavioral: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
